From Aug. 1 to Dec. 13, Milan's Teatro degli Arcimboldi is hosting the 'Unknown: Street Art Exhibition.

The Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan is hosting, until Dec. 13, the Unknown: Street Art Exhibition featuring works by the world’s most famous street artists such as Banksy, Blu, Phase 2, Delta 2, BenEine, 3D, Bordalo II, Kayone, Swoon, Faith 47 and Serena Maisto.

Produced by Next Exhibition and Show Bees, in collaboration with collector collective Xora and installation curator Lacryma Lisnic, the exhibition is a cognitive journey of both street art and its protagonists. There are more than 100 works on display, including originals, detachments, silkscreens and vinyls.

The exhibition focuses more on Banksy to whom six sections are dedicated: one dedicated to the temporary installation Dismaland, others dedicated to reproductions of banknotes and street signs adorned with monkeys and mice; and also silkscreens of his most famous works, works made with spray cans and color lithographs on paper in which Banksy makes fun of themes such as religion, politics, and homophobia.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Ticket price: full 14 euros (open 15 euros); reduced 12 euros for over 65s, under 12s, concessionary and disabled; reduced 10 euros for groups (minimum 10 people); reduced 8 euros for schools (minimum 10 students); reduced 9 euros for those who have visited the multimedia exhibition Claude Monet: the Immersive Experience, at Teatro degli Arcimboldi on the same dates. Children under 3 years of age do not pay a ticket.

In compliance with the rules of containment and management of the epidemiological emergency from Covid-19, access to the exhibition spaces is restricted with hourly entries.
