Intesa Sanpaolo gives a Bronzino painting to Turin for the Christmas holidays

Intesa Sanpaolo's Christmas holiday gift to the city of Turin will be the exhibition of a Bronzino painting.

From Dec. 21, 2017 to Jan. 7, 2018, in Spazio Trentacinque on the 36th floor of the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper, the painting by Bronzino depicting the Madonna and Child, St. Elizabeth and St. John will be on display.

The newly restored work, which comes from the National Museum of Capodimonte, is intended as a gift from Intesa Sanpaolo to the city of Turin on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.

Bronzino’s painting focuses on the two motherhoods: that of the Madonna and that of the elderly Elizabeth. In fact, at the center of the scene is the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus on her knees, intent on playing with St. John. Behind her is Saint Elizabeth.

During the exhibition it will be possible to admire"a-cromactive," an installation created especially for the skyscraper as part of Luci d’Artista.
