The exhibition Orazio Borgianni. An Unquiet Genius in Caravaggio’s Rome, set up at the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Antica in Palazzo Barberini in Rome, aims to retrace the painter’s art-historical story through as many as eighteen autograph works and present the artists who welcomed signicative influences from Borgianni, such as Carlo Saraceni, Antiveduto Gramatica, Giovanni Lanfranco, Simon Vouet, Giovanni Serodine, and many others.
