The collaboration activity requested concerns the performance of services inherent to the activity of protection, conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage and landscape, aimed at recognizing, protecting and preserving cultural heritage, improving its knowledge and conservation in order to increase its public enjoyment, including through support to the Administration in procedures for the procurement of services, supplies and public works.

These are ten autonomous assignments that the collaborators will carry out flexibly, independently and without subordination. The contract will specify all aspects regarding the nature and content of the assignments themselves, including legal constraints. Five figures are sought: two architects, two art historians, two archaeologists, two restorers for Sectors 7 and 8 (ceramic and glass materials, metal and alloy materials) and two restorers for Sectors 1 (stone, mosaic and derivatives), 2 (decorated surfaces), 3 (paintings on board or canvas) and 4 (wooden artifacts, furniture and wooden structures).

The Architects will support the Directors of the Museums afferent to the Lazio Regional Museums Directorate in the preparation of preliminary inquiries for direct or negotiated procedures for the awarding of works, services or supplies. Art Historians will support the Lazio Regional Directorate of Museums in research necessary for the enhancement of the various museums and places of culture afferent to it, as well as in the drafting of texts to be published in digital and printed media. Archaeologists will support the Directors of the Museums afferent to the Lazio Regional Directorate of Museums in activities related to the management, reorganization and census of deposits of archaeological materials, inventory tallying, inventorying; activities of selection of materials aimed at remounting projects; preparation of documentary materials aimed at museum activities. Restorers will collaborate in the execution of preventive and programmed conservation, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, safety and conservative interventions on the movable and immovable property of the Museums and Institutes pertaining to the Lazio Regional Museums Directorate; they will also collaborate in the drafting of technical data sheets, reports and restoration drawings, design documents, expert reports and economic estimates, conservation sheets and condition reports.

The assignments will last 6 months starting May 20, 2024 and ending December 19, 2024. The compensation is set on the maximum gross amount computed over 12 months of 32,000 euros. The compensation is paid following the reporting of the activity carried out by the collaborator in relation to the activity carried out, subject to verification by the Director of the Institute or other official delegated by him/her, upon presentation of an invoice by the professional, who must therefore have a VAT number, at the time the contract is signed. There will be no reimbursement of expenses in various capacities or incidental emoluments.
