The Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities announced that recruitment decrees for 247 new staff from the competition have been signed.

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities said on its own website that as a result of the competition for 500 professionals for culture, 247 new staff have joined MiBAC’s workforce, distributed evenly throughout the country between protection and enhancement activities.
Decrees were signed to hire 83 architect officers, 72 archivist officers, 52 archaeology officers, 25 promoters and communicators officers and 15 art historian officers.

These are in addition to the 167 architects, 116 archivists and 34 promoters and communicators who won competitions for a total of 564 new officials hired from February to date compared to 133 hired in the whole of 2017.
