Export reform of cultural property: final discussion on Tuesday

The final discussion of the cultural goods export reform contained in the Competition Bill will begin in the Senate on Tuesday.

It will be in the Chamber on Tuesday, August 1, and this time for the final vote, Bill No. 2085 for the “annual law for the market and competition,” also known as the"competition ddl": the text also includes the reform of the export of cultural goods to which we have given ample space on these pages, first with a brief summary article, then with two interviews with as many experts, one in favor of the reform(Leonardo Piccinini) and one against(Anna Stanzani).

Last Thursday, theexamination by the Senate Committee on Industry, Trade and Tourism was concluded: it was the last step missing for the green light for final discussion. The text received no changes from how it came from the House of Representatives. The discussion, as anticipated, will begin on Tuesday, August 1, and it can be expected that the bill will probably be approved as early as Wednesday.
