Tomorrow, Feb. 17, Modena’s iconic tower, the Ghirlandina, will reopen to the public.
The tower has been restored and renovated in its furnishings and electrical system and will now be shown in all its beauty with an adequate display of information material, a reception desk and a more comfortable ticket office.
Visitors will once again be able to climb the famous Modenese tower, and entertainment activities and guided tours inside will also resume.
The tower with the cathedral, Piazza Grande and the buildings overlooking the square are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The Ghirlandina is open until March 31 from Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 1 through September 30 Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
