Jewelry displayed in the exhibition The Treasures of the Mughals and Maharajas at the Doge's Palace in Venice was stolen this morning.

This morning around 10 a.m., jewelry was stolen that was on display in a display case at the Doge’s Palace in Venice during the"Treasures of the Mughals and Maharajas" exhibition held in the Venetian palace.

The stolen jewelry is reportedly valued at several tens of thousands of euros.

Visitors present this morning were blocked for investigation, and police who arrived on the scene found that two people allegedly forced their way into the display case: only one acted directly.

Today was the last day available to visit the Venetian exhibition.
