From Feb. 15 to 18, the 15th edition of Arte Genova: what you need to know

From February 15 to 18, 2019, the 15th edition of Arte Genova starts in Genoa: here's what awaits visitors to the Genoa Fairgrounds this year.

Held from February 15 to 18, 2019, the fifteenth edition of ArteGenova, a highly regarded contemporary art market exhibition that this year benefits from the artistic direction of Nicola Rossi and is welcomed in the spaces of the Blue Pavilion of the Genoa Fairgrounds, to once again bring masterpieces of Modern Art and avant-garde trends in Contemporary Art into the spotlight.

While ArteGenova has grown steadily in recent years to establish itself as one of the benchmark events for the Northwest, this year’s edition promises to be even richer than its predecessors. The exhibition proposal will be flanked by an important calendar of events: conferences with specialists and art scholars, meetings and proposals to connect the world of Modern and Contemporary Art with other art languages.

Also back is one of the most awaited appointments of the event, namely CATS - Contemporary Art Talent Show, the bet of artistic director Nicola Rossi, who has courageously decided to dedicate a section to emerging artistic proposals: an important showcase for artists who in many cases show great talent, but have not yet managed to find the way to put themselves in the spotlight and make their proposal known to art galleries and the “general public.”

As in previous editions, this year ArteGenova will know how to remain faithful to tradition, with the ability to intercept both the world of art collectors and a wide audience of enthusiasts together, while renewing its offer. As a guarantee of the quality of the proposal fielded, the long, consolidated and recognized experience of the organizing company NEF - Nord Est Fair, which in recent days celebrated the great success of the 29th edition of ArtePadova.

With this in mind, agreements have been created with Carta Più and Carta Multipiù of La Feltrinelli, whose holders (with accompanying person) are entitled to a free ticket, for members of Coop Liguria and the most important cultural and recreational clubs in Italy (Arci, ArciGay Genova, Carta Giovani, Touring Club, FAI, C.R.A.L.): these concessions will allow members to enter the fair with a special reduced ticket at 1 euro, presenting a valid club card at ArteGenova’s cashiers.

ArteGenova opens to the public on Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets: full price € 10.00, reduced € 5.00 (reserved for groups of at least 10 people, Forces of Law and Order, people over 65, university students, disabled people with accompanying person, children aged 11 to 17), special reduced € 1.00 (ticket downloaded from www.artegenova.com or Arci, ArciGay Genova, CRAL, Carta Giovani, Touring Club, FAI members).
