MiBACT has called for the first National Landscape Day on March 14, 2017. More than 120 initiatives throughout Italy.

Topromote the culture of landscape and raise awareness about the issues and values of safeguarding territories: fundamental principles for respecting the environment that are very often forgotten or ignored.

To this end, MiBACT has called for the first edition of the National Landscape Day on March 14. There will be more than 120 initiatives throughout Italy to raise awareness of environmental issues through meetings and in-depth discussions promoted and organized by the Superintendencies of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape and state museums.
The various initiatives include a visit to the English Garden and its monuments at the Royal Palace of Caserta, educational activities for children at the National Museum of Ravenna, and a guided tour to discover landscape representation techniques in Roman art at the Museum of Palazzo Massimo in Rome.
