In Montichiari, Brescia, the third edition of EXPOARTE, a market exhibition of modern and contemporary art, will be held from September 22 to 24, 2018, at the Exhibition Center.

Scheduled to take place in Montichiari (province of Brescia), at the Centro Fiera exhibition center, is the three-day contemporary art EXPOARTE, which promises to transform the Lombard town for three days (on September 22, 23 and 24, 2018) into a large gallery of modern and contemporary art.

EXPOARTE, directed by Giovanni Zucca (who is also the artistic director of PaviArt), is now in its third edition, and it is proposed not only as an exhibition-market of quality works, but also as a cultural container. Sixty art galleries from all over Italy will be featured, bringing to Montichiari works by De Chirico, De Pisis, Tozzi, Guttuso, Fontana, Mathieu, Christo, Castellani, Bonalumi, Vasarely, Schifano, Rotella, Festa, Boetti, Aubertin, Biasi, and Pinelli. Among the galleries that will participate are Tornabuoni Arte, Open Art, L’incontro Art Gallery, Punto sull’Arte, Bonioni Arte, Lara and Rino Costa, Eidos Immagini Contemporanee, Lattuada Studio, Casati Arte Contemporanea, Colossi Arte Contemporanea and many more.

In addition, a tribute is planned for the centenary of the birth of Mimmo Rotella (Catanzaro, 1918 - Milan, 2006), with an exhibition to be held right in the pavilions of the fairgrounds. “Expoarte,” reads the presentation, “returns to offer itself to enthusiasts and collectors as a unique fair offering the opportunity to admire works of art by great masters of the 20th century and contemporary period.” Hours: Sept. 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission: 8 euros full, 4 euros reduced.
