Alda Merini, the Artists, the People, the exhibition offers an installation that combines photographs, videos, books, artist scarves and digital installations. Each element accompanies the visitor in a close encounter with Merini’s human and poetic universe, also aiming to offer food for thought on the themes of diversity, welcome and the possibility of creating proximity through art.
The initiative is promoted by the association Mongolfiere Tascabili APS, in collaboration with the Il Mosaico Consortium of Social Cooperatives, and will be open daily (weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m., holidays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.).
The project LE PORTE ACCANTO also includes a series of thematic workshops inspired by four poems by Alda Merini, dedicated to themes such as gender equality, the encounter between peoples and cultures, fragility and intergenerational dialogue. The aim of the project is to tell, through the human and artistic figure of one of the greatest poets of the 20th century, the generative power of fragility and diversity, promoting a culture of inclusion and proximity. Art, in this context, is proposed as a universal language and tool for emotional, psychological and social well-being.
