Rome, Jim Dine exhibition extended until July 26

The Palazzo delle Esposizioni has reopened the exhibition dedicated to Jim Dine (Cincinnati, 1935), one of the major artists of the contemporary U.S. scene, with an extension until July 26.

The same artist, whose work has had a great impact on contemporary visual culture, particularly that of Italy in the 1960s, has created the exhibition curated by Daniela Lancioni by displaying more than 60 works, dated from 1959 to 2016, from public and private, European and American collections. An exhaustive iconographic apparatus restores the visual memory of the famous happenings, narrated in the exhibition by the voice of Jim Dine himself, and a selection of video interviews, allows you to familiarize yourself with the figure of the artist.
