Evening openings at the Marino Marini Museum. Open again starting June 17

The Marino Marini Museum reopens to the public June 17. New visiting days and hours planned, with evening openings.

The Marino Marini Museum reopens its doors to visitors from Wednesday, June 17, with new opening days and hours: in fact, the contemporary art museum venue will be open to visitors every Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Thanks to the midweek evening openings, visitors will be able to admire the works on display and walk through the museum spaces with evocative lighting effects. Sundays will be especially dedicated to children and families with a special program.

The museum holds 183 works by Marino Marini, including drawings, lithographs, paintings, and sculptures, all displayed on the four levels of the museum, and houses the Rucellai Chapel inside. The latter reopens in compliance with all required security measures, from sanitizing spaces to interpersonal distance.

“The pandemic has triggered new habits and imposed different ways of using spaces. The Marino Marini Museum has responded to these challenges by opening up to the public in a new and engaging way: with the evening openings we will offer unprecedented visitor experiences and we are working to define a rich program of activities through which to establish a dialogue with visitors to invite them to reflect together on the changes of today and tomorrow,” said Patrizia Asproni, President of the Marino Marini Museum.
