Selfie Museum lands in Florence, where visitors unleash their creativity

The Selfie Museum arrives in Florence for the first time: more than 1,000 square meters with immersive installations and scenarios created by more than 400 artists from around the world.

Coming to Florence for the first time until March 8, 2022 is the Selfie Museum, a new space where visitors are free to express their creativity with photographs, images, and video clips to share with their friends.

More than 1,000 square meters dedicated to the creative reinterpretation of art and culture from every era and style, with immersive installations and scenarios created by more than four hundred artists from around the world. The Selfie Museum is a pop-up museum and is a new way of experiencing art and is located in the spaces of Florence Art Lab, a laboratory for contemporary creativity in the center of the Tuscan capital, not far from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Accademia Gallery.

The exhibition space develops like a labyrinth on two levels, dedicated to new contemporary art forms: immersive art, light art, video art, street art, optical illusions, illustration, sound installations, kinetic sculptures, digital storytelling, augmented and virtual reality. By collaborating with leading art and design academies, Florence Art Lab offers the public an up-to-date overview of the most innovative forms of contemporary creativity, both stylistically and technologically.

You can also experience the Selfie Museum in the evening, from 9 p.m. to midnight, thanks to themed evenings and exclusive invitation-only events.

The Selfie Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
