Art history cards come out in reprint for Easter

Easter reprint for Artonauts, the art history sticker album, which was a great and unexpected success.

Great success for Artonauts, the art history sticker album we told you about on these pages shortly before its release. Only one month after its launch on newsstands(Artonauti was in fact released last March 15), sales have already far exceeded production estimates, necessitating already three reprints, plus the current one, the fourth, for the Easter holidays.

“Since the announcement of its conception and imminent release,” reads a note, "Artonauti, the first art sticker album in Italy and in the world, was immediately received with enormous enthusiasm, registering incredible social sharing and thus proving to be a winning idea that is highly anticipated and loved not only by children and young people (to whom the sticker albums are usually addressed) but by parents, teachers, the elderly, collectors, art enthusiasts and others, enthusiastic about how one can approach the world of art, having fun and learning at the same time."

“In our own small way we are changing the world,” say Marco Tatarella, publisher, and Daniela Re, teacher, both founders of Wizart S.r.l.i.s, the nonprofit social enterprise that published the album. “Children, collectors, adults, even seniors have bought or are playing with Artonauts. Children are asking their mothers to go to the Uffizi, others are recognizing works of art on TV, others are excited to complete paintings. Art today is a more shared cultural heritage than it was yesterday, and this achievement is also the result of all those who supported our project by pointing it out in their own media, to whom our sincere thanks go.”

For the future, Wizart has already announced that new editions of Artonauts will be released, which are currently in the planning stage. The album can be found at newsstands, and also at newsstands you can buy packs with stickers.
