Another appointment with L’arte al cinema is coming up: on February 18, 19 and 20, 2019 only, the event film dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci will be shown in Italian cinemas.

Leonardo Cinquecento aims to be the story of a journey, with 8K images, to discover the thought and scientific legacy of the great genius, who, 500 years after his death, continues to be one of the most well-known and admired figures in the history of humanity. Artist, architect, naturalist, military strategist, engineer, the greatest scientist of all time was first and foremost an observer in constant search of new discoveries.

The film aims to recompose the pages of the Codices, fully digitized and analyzed thanks to artificial intelligence, and left to us by the artist in an entirely new perspective that shows the contemporary implications of his immense work.
With the contribution of international experts and a pool of engineers and technicians, the story aims to cast a new light on the observations and studies of the genius who has fascinated entire generations for centuries.

It is directed by Francesco Invernizzi. The event film was produced by Magnitudo Film and distributed in collaboration with Chili.
