Important discovery in the field of cinematography: an unpublished nude scene starring Marilyn Monroe (Los Angeles, 1926 - 1962) has in fact been unearthed. According to what we know, the idea of dropping the sheet was Marilyn’s own, but the director of The Misfits, John Huston (Nevada, Missouri, 1906 - Middletown, Rhode Island, 1987) considered it superfluous to the plot and therefore decided to cut it, but kept the opening part, in which Clark Gable (who disappeared ten days after the end of filming) kisses Marilyn while she holds the sheet over her breasts while helping herself with her arms. It is a very important scene, however: if it had not been cut, it would have been the first nude scene by an American star in a feature film.

It is still unknown what will become of the video and what Curtice Taylor plans to do with it: according to Casillo, Taylor has not yet made any decision on the matter.
