Montelupo Fiorentino will have the first large goose game made of reclaimed clay

In Montelupo Fiorentino, the first life-size goose game made entirely of reclaimed clay will be created.

In Montelupo Fiorentino, the first life-size goose game will be made entirely from recycled clay. The project is conceived by the La Fierucola association as part of Fondazione CR Firenze’s Social Innovation Jam 2 initiative, in collaboration with Impact Hub Firenze and Feel Crowd, and the realization will be up to the Le Cocciute team.

The C’è sempre tempo per giocare crowdfunding campaign has been launched aimed at creating a goose game with leftover clay salvaged from workshops and companies that work with ceramics, a typical artifact of Montelupo Fiorentino. The goal is to raise awareness of environmental issues and intervene, through a participatory process, on the enhancement of city spaces by creating collective works. It will be placed in the Beaucaire gardens, an open-air space and a meeting place between generations. Each box will be made following the leftover recovery method indicated in the Sustainable Ceramic Daily and will tell the story of Montelupo, its places, its curiosities, its anecdotes, its characters, its peculiarities.

This is the first urban regeneration work branded MoMi (/mòn.do mi.gliò.re/), a certified mark that symbolizes environmental sustainability and craftsmanship.

To contribute to the project there is time until April 4, 2021, and you need to access the platform https://www.eppela.com/it/projects/29736-c-e-sempre-tempo-per-giocare

The initiative is sponsored by the Municipality of Montelupo Fiorentino, with the partnership of Arte della Ceramica and the support of Sammontana, Pro Loco di Montelupo, Auser Montelupo, Foto Lupo and Sezione Soci Coop di Empoli.
