In Rome, street art celebrates the Italian Constitution with a large mural

In Rome's Garbatella neighborhood, a large mural by Greg Jager celebrates the first twelve articles of the Italian Constitution.

In Rome’s Garbatella neighborhood, there is a mural dedicated to the Italian Constitution: it was inaugurated in May 2021 and was created on the facade of an Ater building by artist Greg Jager in collaboration with Marimo creatives and the Pastificio Cerere Foundation.

Entitled The Most Beautiful Constitution in the World, the large street art work, which covers an area of 25 x 7 meters on Adorno Gerolamo Street, depicts the first twelve articles of the Constitution through symbols that refer to them: thus ranging from work to integration, from culture to the protection of the environmental and artistic heritage, from the inviolable rights of man to the secular nature of the State.

The mural was done at Garbatella to celebrate the centenary of the Roman neighborhood and is part of the Lazio Region’s wide-ranging project, Lazio Street Art, which calls for the creation of ten street art works to regenerate, requalify and enhance public places in a cultural key, with a contribution of 200,000 euros.
