Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, 2025 Buongiorno Ceramica! is back, the national event promoted byAiCC - Italian Association of Ceramic Cities, which this year celebrates its 11th edition. For an entire weekend, 58 Italian municipalities will be united in a large widespread event dedicated to Italian artistic and artisanal ceramics, involving all the realities engaged in its production and cultural promotion.

For two consecutive days, it will be possible to explore the richness of a world that combines creativity, ancient knowledge and innovation. From north to south, small villages and towns known for their established tradition and ceramic production will be transformed into lively and participatory places: historic workshops, ateliers, museums, schools, art galleries and public spaces will welcome the public with initiatives designed for all ages.

The poster of Buongiorno Ceramica! offers a full program of activities: workshops for adults and children, exhibitions, installations, guided tours, performances, food and wine events, live demonstrations, lectures but also many contaminations with dance, theater, music, cinema and literature, for a total of more than 500 events open to the public. An invitation to meet the protagonists of the sector, master craftsmen and young artists and designers, following thematic paths and exploring both age-old traditions and the most innovative creativities.

"Celebrating its eleventh edition, in 2025 Buongiorno Ceramica! returns once again to be not only a true festival of ceramics spread throughout the country, but also an extraordinary opportunity to fully immerse oneself in a world rich in creativity and passion," stresses AiCC’s newly appointed director, Nadia Carboni. “It is an unmissable opportunity to rediscover and enhance an artistic heritage that belongs to us and deserves to be celebrated and shared. Behind every city in AiCC’s network is a creative and productive cultural ecosystem, a real living fabric made up of artisan workshops, innovative ateliers, and cultural and educational institutions that work tirelessly to promote art and culture.”

"Buongiorno Ceramica! takes the shape of an extraordinary opportunity for Italian artistic craftsmanship, and is the result of a commitment that, edition after edition, has been able to assert its relevance," said AiCC President Massimo Isola, Mayor of Faenza. “In the renewed centrality of Made in Italy within the public debate, this festival spread in dozens of cities confirms itself as a dynamic and effective initiative, capable of expressing itself with a contemporary language but at the same time deeply rooted in tradition. Over the years, it has been able to cope with the complex pandemic phase with a predominantly digital edition, and then return to offer the public the opportunity to visit ceramic workshops and take part in a wide program of events designed to experience the world of ceramics in its most authentic essence, according to the peculiarities of each participating city.”

Buongiorno Ceramica! represents a valuable opportunity to get up close and personal with the work of artisans, artists and ceramicists, following paths that weave together tradition and contemporaneity. A weekend to be experienced among hands that shape, stories that are handed down and creations that speak the language of Italian excellence.
