The October 2019 edition opens 34 palaces: for the occasion, after several years, the main floor of Palazzo Spinola Doria, home of the Circolo Artistico Tunnel (Via Garibaldi 6, Sunday 13 only), with its frescoes narrating the vicissitudes of the famous Genoese family, and Palazzo Agostino Pallavicino (Via Garibaldi 1), with its majestic Renaissance facade and splendid frescoes by Andrea and Ottavio Semino, will be back on view.

Then there are other novelties, starting with Palazzo Angelo Giovanni Spinola, which opens for the first time the first piano nobile with frescoes by Andrea Semino, Bernardo Castello and Lazzaro Tavarone. Still, the Rolli Days audience will be able to discover a new perspective from Piazza San Lorenzo, thanks to the opening of the atrium of palazzo Cicala, which will allow to move from the sixteenth-century painted facade of the Squarciafico palace to the baroque triumph of Francesco Maria Schiaffino’s bas-reliefs in the Scuole Pie church, while in collaboration with theLigustica Academy of Fine Arts and the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory it will be possible to enjoy the unprecedented opening of the Senarega palace, adding a valuable element to the visit of the Piazza Banchi area.

And again, an absolute novelty of this edition of Rolli Days is the Rolli Experience, dedicated to those who want to live try to spend a stay in Genoa as an ancient guest of the Republic.
