A tour led by an educational operator authorized by the Vatican City State will accompany you through the halls of the museum site to witness theopening of the doors and the switching on of the lights accomplished by the Vatican Museumsclaviger.

Beginning at the monumental entrance gate, you will pass through the Atrium of the Four Gates, the Simonetti Staircase, the Pius Clementine Museum, the Candelabra Galleries, the Tapestries Galleries, the Maps Galleries, the Raphael Rooms, the St. Pius V Staircase, and the Sistine Chapel to arrive in the Courtyard of the Pine Cone, where you will be welcomed with breakfast in the bistro.

The special experience begins at 6 am.

At the end of breakfast it is possible, upon request and for a fee, to continue the visit with a guided tour of the Museums.
