Theprivate apartment of Ferdinand II of Bourbon inside the Royal Palace of Naples has been restored and will now be used for exhibitions and meetings.

A room that has never been open to the public is located on the ground floor of the building.
Ferdinand II used this space for private appointments: it consists of a writing room, a gallery for receiving guests, and a dressing room with antechambers.

The latter have been restored and feature Pompeian-style decorations. Walls and ceilings are decorated with mythological scenes and dancing figurines, divided by small columns and porticoes made in perspective.
