“These days are a great opportunity to learn about the history of Magna Graecia, discovering the wealth of archaeological evidence on display at the Museum. Calabria had a central position in the history of the Greek West, and the MArRC’s finds are an exceptional testimony to the importance of this territory and the cultural and commercial contacts with other areas of the Mediterranean. This is why it was decided to invest in the extraordinary openings, with great effort by all the staff, whom I thank,” said director Carmelo Malacrino.
