The MiBACT has proposed a new initiative to deseasonalize theatrical cinema releases and attract audiences during the summer months: these are the #Cinemadays promoted by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism in collaboration with ANICA- National Association of Audiovisual and Multimedia Cinematographic Industries and film producers, distributors and exhibitors.

From April 9 to 12, July 9 to 15, and September 24 to 27, 2018, tickets for each film in all participating theaters will cost only 3 euros, while from August 9 to 15, 2018, previews of the new film season will be shown in participating theaters.

Information about the cinemas participating in the initiative will be available on a special website that will be created by MiBACT along with the commercial that will accompany the initiative following its calendar.

Dario Franceschini said, "The world of cinema is united and today presents a new promotion to increase the number of spectators in movie theaters, even in the summer months. 15 days of cinema at 3 euros and an entire week in August dedicated to previews. I am sure that this promotion will also find great success especially among families and younger people."
