Jacopo Tissi leaves the Moscow Bolshoi. No war can be justified

Jacopo Tissi ’s adventure at the Bolshoi in Moscow lasted little more than a month. “It’s hard to find the words these days, all the moments I’ve lived until now and the many thoughts running through my head,” Tissi began, writing a post on Instagram. “I am shocked by this situation that hit us overnight and honestly, for the moment, I find myself unable to continue my career in Moscow. I cannot describe how sad it was for me to leave my teachers, colleagues and friends; special people who made me grow as an artist and as a person to whom I am and will always be grateful. As a human being I have empathy for all the people and their families who are suffering. No war can be justified. Never. And I will always be against any kind of violence. We cannot let hatred spread; on the contrary, our world should be full of harmony, peace, understanding and respect. I really hope and pray that all wars and suffering will end as soon as possible.”

Only yesterday the Bolshoi had lost another important piece, director Tugan Sokhiev, who resigned, also upset about what is happening.
