Zetema hires 77 permanent employees for museums and libraries in Rome

Zetema, the Roma Capitale subsidiary that manages the city's cultural sites, has issued a recruitment notice for 77 permanent employees to work in Rome's museums and libraries.

Zètema Progetto Cultura s.r.l., the Roma Capitale subsidiary that manages the city’s cultural sites, has published a recruitment notice for 77 permanent, part-time employees to work in the city’s museums and libraries. There is time to apply until January 31, 2023.

There are two profiles: the first profile is of assistant in the museum hall (67 units) with contract level I level IV (former B1) of the current Federculture national contract. The contract provides for a salary of 1495.20 euros per month gross for fourteen months, plus benefits, but these are to be prorated on the basis of part-time: for 57 units the part-time is 30 hours while for the remaining 10 it is 24 hours. The assistants will be employed to supervise the assets, facilities and installations of the museum sector that Zètema manages on behalf of Roma Capitale: they will have to ensure their integrity, supervise and regulate access, regulate the flow of the public, and provide appropriate information.

The second profile is for the support of public assistance, reference and front office activities as part of the services offered by Zetema. Salary of 1697.55 euros gross per month, over fourteen months, plus benefits, to be spread over part-time 30 hours a week. In this case, resources will be employed to support the main library activities aimed at the public, e.g., registration and user management, support for document circulation, lending and return, and bibliographic information activities. They will also have to support the organization of cultural activities and reading promotion activities for the enhancement of library services aimed at adults, children, youth and specific groups and types of users.

A high school diploma is sufficient for both profiles. Selection will begin with the evaluation of applications and will continue with an examination: for supervisors, the exam (a questionnaire with closed-ended questions) will cover fundamentals of art history, contents of the Federculture CCNL, and elements of current regulations on work safety, while for profile B the questions will cover the structure of the Library Institutions system, fundamentals of librarianship, and then again contents of the Federculture CCNL and elements of current regulations on work safety. The number of questions, the duration of the test and the method of scoring will be communicated at a later date and in any case at least 30 days before the test (same deadline for the date and method of holding the exam). Finally, the test will be followed by an aptitude interview for admitted candidates. For all information, to read the full notice and to apply, you can log on to the Zètema website.
