A never-before-seen exhibition at Venice's Palazzo Zaguri: works by famous artists translated onto fabric

From November 1, 2018, a never-before-seen exhibition will be held at Palazzo Zaguri in Venice: fabric artifacts reproducing works by great artists.

On November 1, 2018, Palazzo Zaguri in Venice will reopen its doors to welcome anever-before-seen exhibition: fabric artifacts capable of surprising and capturing the attention of visitors because of the fineness of the warp and the ability to unite colors on canvas.

"From Kandinsky to Botero all in a Thread": works by Kandinsky, Botero, De Chirico, Klee, Matisse, Miró, and Warhol translated onto fabric.

A “return to the origins” with a strong reference to the history of Venetian fabric: Palazzo Zaguri was born between the 14th and 15th centuries at the behest of the Pasqualini family, silk merchants.

The exhibition will be realized thanks to Venice Exhibition, which has allowed the historic home where Giacomo Casanova also stayed to become a permanent museum center.
