Friday, May 8, will be the International Day of Dance, and for the occasion the distribution company BiM, the Romaeuropa Foundation and the specialized portal MyMovies are launching a special event: at 8:30 p.m., on the MyMovies Live platform, the 2011 documentary directed by Wim Wenders, Pina, will in fact be broadcast. It is a film shot in 3D and dedicated to the well-known German choreographer and dancer Pina Bausch (Philippine Bausch; Solingen, 1940 - Wuppertal, 2009), which was presented out of competition at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival, won the Best Documentary Award at the 2011 Deutscher Filmpreis, and was released in theaters on November 4, 2011.

The broadcast of the film will be preceded by a discussion involving dance and film experts and introduced by Gaia Clotilde Chernetich, playwright, author and scholar of dance and theater.
