The National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia initiates online lessons in Etruscan history, designed for elementary and middle school children, but open to all: next event Feb. 10.

Online Etruscan history lessons for primary and secondary school pupils (i.e., elementary and middle schools), but open to anyone who wants to participate: this is the initiative At School with the Etruscans of the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia in Rome, which at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, reaches its second event. Live on the Etruschannel YouTube channel, by connecting to theappropriate link, it will be possible to follow the museum’s director, Valentino Nizzo, who will virtually welcome very young visitors to the museum’s halls for a meeting on the origins of Rome.

“We continue to offer educational support at a particular time for schools, which requires the contribution of the world of culture and the professionals who work there with commitment and passion,” the museum points out. “A way to share and transmit knowledge through direct testimony, in contact with the works on which the memory and identity of our past is based. From schoolbooks to museum rooms to spend an hour together in the company of the Etruscans and their stories.”

Participants will be able to interact at any time during the meeting through the chat made available to users. Anyone who wants more information can visit the website of the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia.
