Tomaso Binga ’s work Carta da parato (1976) has become part of the collection of the Centre Pompidou in Paris and belongs to a series of works conceived by the artist between 1976 and 1977, in which installation, poetry and performance are fused. Such experimentation is also based on the use of the body and voice as tools of expression and liberation from patriarchal linguistic codes, with the intention of dismantling sexist stereotypes rooted in communication and the collective imagination.
